Mare Humorum
Imaged March 9, 1998. Rupes Liebig is the fault running along the edge of Mare Humorum (Sea of Moisture). The large pale crater is Gassendi. To its left is Mersenius with shadow covering half of the crater's floor. One of the rilles of Rimae Mersenius can be seen at the red arrow.
